Taking a screenshot on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is very easy. This is especially useful if you want someone to see something that no image is like a call, web page or a menu. Screenshots in iOS you take are automatically stored in your photos, so you can send or edit afterwards.
Take screenshot on iPhone
- Go to or open the screen that you want to make a screenshot.
- Press and hold both the Home button (below the screen) and snooze button (on top of your device). On the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is the snooze button on the side.
- The screen will flash and if you have switched sound, you can hear the shutter button.
- The screenshot is now stored in the Photos app. IOS screenshots are from 9 ook automatically stored in a separate gallery ‘Screenshots’.
