VideoLAN Version: 2.1.0 Free
Two months ago finally launched the official VLC app back in the App Store. Since the launch there was no major update released, but has just been launched VLC 2.1. This version is not so much recognition as the app brings new features, but a few useful improvements.
There is added support for subtitles in multiple languages. Furthermore, the ability to use extended FTP. So you can simply stream videos and download. Bonjour integration has also been improved, it allows you to send a lot faster videos to the app on a WiFi network.
VLC for iOS is free downloadable from the App Store and is suitable for both the iPhone and iPad.
