MWC 2014 round-up: 4G tablets, 64bit chips and higher resolutions - Tablets Magazine

The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is over and that means that we can see the balance. We have a large number of new tablets, processors and trends come and go. In this article, we put the most important news from MWC 2014 among them.

Sony

HP

HP was one of the few manufacturers that also focused on Windows 8 at MWC 2014. The American company launched several new tablets and convertibles, including the Pavilion x360 convertible with a price tag of 449 euros and ProPad 600 standalone tablet with a 64bit Intel Atom Z3795- processor and a 64bit version of Windows 8.1. Intel brought to the new Atom ‘Merrifield’ Z34xx processor Android tablets and smartphones also 64bit chips on the market, and gave releasing details about its next-generation Atom Z35xx 64bit processor, codenamed “Moorefield” .
