Apple sees sales stagnate, iPad sales is shrinking - MacWorld

Apple has sold fewer iPads last quarter than in the same period a year earlier. This is evident from the quarterly figures that the Cupertino company announced Tuesday. The booked profits remained virtually unchanged.

Apple Tuesday presented the financial results for the third quarter of 2013. The iPhone maker managed to record a turnover of $ 35.3 billion, almost equal to the 35 billion that it was recorded over the same period in 2012. However, profits fell significantly, from $ 8.8 billion in the third quarter of 2012 to $ 6.9 billion in the past three months.

iPads Apple sells less
The decline in earnings appears to have a decline in sales of both iPads and Mac computer systems the result. Went there in the third quarter of 2012 another 17 million tablets of Apple over the counter, in the same period this year there were 14.6 million. In the second quarter of 2013 there were over 19 million iPads in hand.

addition to the iPad sales also ran the sales of Mac systems during the quarter back, albeit slightly. 4 million in 2012 to 3.8 million in the last three months. Both the iPad and the Apple Mac did during the presentation to show the different models.
