“AutoWeek unworthy”, “outdated” and “not yet”. These are some of the user reviews for the iPhone app AutoWeek.nl. The application of the biggest car news from Netherlands amassed in just one year, no more than 32 reviews with an average of 2 stars. So it was time for a new app – which is now. AutoWeek.nl version 3.0 is now a universal app for iPhone and iPad, has quite a refreshed appearance and also shows the specific channels for electric cars, vintage cars, supercars and more. The app is also interesting if you’re not looking for car news.
Last April, we wrote about the then newly released iPhone app AutoWeek.nl. Which was optimized for the 4 inch screen of the iPhone 5 and new, but gave no further innovations and improvements over the previous app. And saw you back. Put the screenshots from the article from last year, but once in front of the new AutoWeek.nl.
New Layout
AutoWeek.nl on iPhone and iPad has become whiter, looks firmer, uses a sliding menu instead of buttons at the bottom and make much better use of image. You get the app within a large photo of the head news and bottom of the timeline of the news, you stay here and there great pictures (and ads) between the smaller article headlines see through. But also smaller heads are clearer than before. You read no introduction, but only sees a picture, and short head. A pull-down menu at the top picture, choose a message type: news, car tests, videos, blogs, driving impressions or multi tests

It is striking that AutoWeek.nl not fully conform to the iOS 7 guidelines in design, but also recognizable as your magazine or the website reads. The cup a news News top left, the red introduction and the section “More on the topic” doing terribly at the other manifestations of AutoWeek think – quite an achievement. A difference with the website is that your videos and pictures you see here bottom of the screen. You can find them at last view in full screen without any problems, both pictures and videos.

There are more benefits to login to the app. From that moment on your favorite articles and items in the application where you pay for – like a big comparison of small cars – kept in the scrolling menu. You also set a filter for a car brand and model of your preference, including push message when there is news about that car.
Also interesting for used cars
Even if you’re not looking for news on new car models, but are in the market for used cars, AutoWeek.nl is an application where you can no longer ignore. At the top you will find under the heading Cars and fill in a registration to all specifications of a car to see. The database goes back to 1980! Do you have any badge or you look for a new car, you can also look up the model in a list. Many of the specifications is also reflected in occcassions app as Autoscout recently discussed and Autotrack but AutoWeek has to buy a card up its sleeve with reports that you can in the app with an account. In it you can read the test car AutoWeek time, valuation, maintenance intervals and maintenance of the car.

new application looks a lot better, works flawlessly and has features that you want. like car enthusiast at hand Especially when you create an account in the app. AutoWeek.nl for iPhone and iPad has shaken the past itself. AutoWeek worthy.
