It’s not the same game as Angry Birds , which is also available for iOS. Instead, Angry Birds Friends weekly new levels, which players can compete with friends for the highest scores. These are reset a week later.
They can also buy power-ups via an in-game store. The virtual currency that is required for this, can also be purchased with real money. After the initial purchase advertising is automatically removed during the game.
Angry Birds Friends has become the fifth full Angry Birds game, after earlier Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio, Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Star Wars published. The Friends variant launched earlier on Facebook.
