During the keynote presentation at WWDC 2013, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook made several interesting announcements but also revealed some information about the state of affairs regarding apps. So there are now 900,000 apps available for the iPad which 375,000 are optimized.

Apple now has an impressively large application library managed to build with the help of developers. By comparison, in September last year it was 700,000 of which 250,000 applications optimized for the iPad
