Vacationers caution: there is probably no category of apps on the iPhone and iPad that you can save as much money as applications to book airline tickets. iCulture feel the iOS apps of price comparison sites and airlines to the tooth and light the best apps in this edition of the iCulture Holiday Special. That can save you hundreds of dollars. Per person. Per flight.

iCulture advises: Skyscanner

If you first another application of an airline used to flights along books, it is a shock when you use Skyscanner. The app will search not only the prices of airlines, but also many independent travel providers. That makes the number of deals in Skyscanner huge, and it would be strange if you come out cheaper than in other apps. The search is filling fast and smart: if you select destination, not the airport that you want. When the search is done, you quickly sort on the duration, start time, stopovers, airlines, airports and price. In addition, you can request a graph which you see on which day you fly the cheapest, and that can really care hundreds of dollars. Favorite commands and flights can save, and before you book your first choose a tour if there are multiple options. Momondo

Momondo is a lesser-known player in the market than Skyscanner, but certainly worth it to compare prices for flights. The app also looks at other nearby airports as to leave, and so can you come be cheaper than from Eindhoven airport. Smart! In the overview you quickly see all the data that you want to know, such as start time, duration, society and the site that it sells. The price is in large declared, and the filters to instantly see information before you press them. What does a stopover for the price? What is the cheapest flight if you go in the afternoon? To which airport you can the cheapest? Momondo shows in our test session results less than Skyscanner but is however recommended.

KAYAK

One of the best services from this list KAYAK, and that will definitely make do with the fact that you can book flights and hotels, and the results are presented clearly appreciated among themselves. As in other apps, you can also choose here in a big city to look at all the airports and not airport. With a tap on a flight you see detailed information and the number of free places in a plane, which is useful if you want to choose. Places KAYAK also ensures that flight information is available offline in the app, and then you can also other parts of your books and travel plans.

Hipmunk Flights & Hotels

Hipmunk allows you to hotels and flights search and saves on both counts no mud figure. The flights are presented in a somewhat awkward list sorted by departure, and the size of the bar shows how long a flight. The airline is only visible if the flight is long enough and sorting options do not give the clearest picture again, but the results are numerous. Before you book, you also see a full itinerary of the flight and waiting. Therein lies the power of Hipmunk.

ebookers

There is a nice selection of Dutch price comparison for flights, but Ebookers is the only party with an application that works fine and slightly modern touch. Alternatives can be found under the heading Other price comparison . In the application you wipe easily between recent searches and new, where you can switch between single or return journey. With a tab The flight is clearly shown in Ebookers: in the overview you will immediately see the number of stops, the society and the time to the first stop. Night flights are also highlighted, and you can filter and sort by society, price, departure time, transfer and shortest flight. Bookings can also be found in the app, and if need be, then you also book a hotel and transport spot. In terms of prices, we were not always as beneficial as in other apps out , so keep comparing prices.
