Two new iPad mini’s are coming. This year still, in 2013, a new model come with a thinner design. The iPad Mini with retina display coming in 2014.
That said Richard Shim of DisplaySearch, Shim predicted earlier the arrival of the original iPad Mini and the launch of the Nexus 7.
New model Mini iPad 1
One model of the iPad Mini that would be launched this year by Shim, has the same resolution (1024 x768 pixels) as the current model. The draft will be only thinner, and of course the iPad Mini will run on the completely revamped iOS7. This variant of the iPad Mini is according to DisplaySearch Research with the A6 processor Apple now also used in the iPhone 5.
New model Mini iPad 2
The second model of the iPad Mini will have the same specs as the model above it. But it will display a retina display with 2048×1536 resolution. This model iPad Mini with Retina screen would only be available in early 2014.
iPad 5
In addition to the two smaller iPad Mini, Apple’s according to DisplaySearch also working on a new iPad 5, with an A7 processor, Retina display and iOS 7.
