Wimbledon launches app for iPad - The Gelderlander

LONDON – Tennis fans can now learn all about Wimbledon, thanks to a new app for the iPad. The Championships, Wimbledon 2013 offers include exclusive pictures of the grass tournament, current standings and 360 degree videos.

Users get an interactive map where you can see all the tennis courts. By means of marks, the tennis enthusiast see which job is something going on and then zoom. Additional information and statistics on the players will be visible.

Furthermore, you can use the app include live scores track the schedule and profiles of players watching, listening to radio reports of events, be alerted when your favorite player enters the court and on applications demand videos of previews, interviews and match highlights .

The Championships, Wimbledon 2013 is free to download from the App Store and requires iOS 5 or later. The Wimbledon app was already available for the iPhone and Android.
