App allows remote Mac’s screen of iPhone or iPad – NU.nl

Duet was developed by former Apple employees and makes iPads and iPhones for an external display Mac computers. The touch screen of the iPad or iPhone can also be used to control OS X.

It is striking that the app is designed for devices running iOS 5.1.1 or later. Many new apps are often only suitable for iOS 6, iOS 7 or higher.

Because of this wide compatibility, the app also suitable for some of the first iPad, which has not been updated to iOS 6 or can be higher. Such an iPad can get Duet with a new function as an external display for your Mac.

According to the developers give the app images from the Mac to the iPad or iPhone by at a speed of 60 frames per second without delay. Duet is not yet available, but should appear soon. Users do have a Mac running OS X 10.9 or higher
