Older people now know all of the iPad thanks lesson ROC – Daman News

Daman – In ten lessons, students ICT management of the ROC North Holland Cup a studious group of elderly people all taught about the use of the iPad. The classes are an initiative of North Holland Connect, in collaboration with partners Rabobank Noordhollands Dagblad, CBE North Holland and Pius Foundation.

Over the past five weeks, an enthusiastic class of 24 students from ROC Cup North Holland twice a week for two hours iPadles given to the elderly. For the classes were made available four locations. Besides two ROC locations in Schagen and Den Helder also suggested De Jong & amp; Bouterse Directory Schagen and Rabobank Noord-Holland Cup in Den Helder disinterested a classroom available.

For the ROC students participating in the project is a way to gain teaching experience and develop their presentation skills. They learn to prepare lessons and give discretion explanations and instructions to students. The students learn in a fun way about the possibilities of an iPad and could direct their questions to the young students. Both the students and the students look back on a very successful course where mostly the fun in the technique and stood in the forefront contact with each other.

Connection
Sandra swelled and Jolande Verhulst collaborate on projects that contribute to communication between different generations, with the aim of making the community more beautiful and cozier.
