iTIP: Creating a screenshot on iPhone and iPad (iOS) – iCreate Magazine

Taking a screenshot on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is very easy. This is especially useful if you want someone to see something that no image is like a call, web page or a menu. Screenshots in iOS you take are automatically stored in your photos, so you can send or edit afterwards.

Take screenshot on iPhone

  1. Go to or open the screen that you want to make a screenshot.
  2. Press and hold both the Home button (below the screen) and snooze button (on top of your device). On the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is the snooze button on the side.
  3. The screen will flash and if you have switched sound, you can hear the shutter button.
  4. The screenshot is now stored in the Photos app. IOS screenshots are from 9 ook automatically stored in a separate gallery ‘Screenshots’.
