"Netbooks disappear iPad '- Times

Netbooks disappear, IHS iSuppli predicts. The small laptopjes would become obsolete by the advent of the iPad.

The research draws this conclusion based on sales. This lie is indeed not to know LA Times. The netbooks in 2007 for the first time on the market, were in 2010 more than 32 million copies sold. In 2012, two years after the iPad was first presented, there was still less than half over. In 2013 are expected to further 72 percent less than a year earlier netbooks sold: 3970000.

Based on these figures, the prediction that in 2014 less than half a million netbooks sold and that the product in 2015.

Because laptopjes small compared with ‘normal’ laptops fewer features and have a shorter battery life, consumers according to computer analyst Craig Stice that LA Times cites as well buy an iPad.
