I have just had the Surface 2 held today. Personally, I like the aluminum-colored finish, very nice, but what is especially good, the reduction of weight. My own Surface felt quite heavy.
The new covers are nice too (I go for the purple 
). Convenient, the function keys at the top. I missed a bit on the previous series.
