Surface 2 is the most sought after tablet from Microsoft - Tablet World

Surface 2 is the updated version of the Surface and is for sale in the Netherlands from October. An analysis of Google Trends for search data generates the tablet more interest than the Surface, Surface and Surface Pro Pro 2 from Microsoft.

Data from Google Trend shows that the Microsoft Surface 2 tablet most often sought in the quest for Surface tablets. The second version of this tablet has received major updates compared to the first model. Thus, the resolution was a spec bump of 1366×768 pixels to 1920×1080 pixels. The 1.3GHz Tegra 3 running NIVIDIA also replaced the NVIDIA Tegra 4 quad-core processor that are doing work on up to 1.7 GHz.

There can only be run on software that is written for the Windows Runtime, or which can be found in the Windows Store. However, there are standard software applications included in Windows RT such as Microsoft Word, Excel and OneNote.

The processor in the Surface 2 is an NVIDIA Tegra 4 and there is 2GB of memory available. There is also a physical keyboard that transforms the tablet into a small laptop. At the back is a 5 megapixel camera and integrated FrontCam has a resolution of 3.5 megapixels. The tablet has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a full-sized USB 3.0 port, but no GPS and NFC as do many other tablets. The tablet is available from € 439 for the version with 32GB of internal memory.
