Rumor: Philips brings cheap tablet with Android - Android World

Everyone wants a piece of the Android Tablet market that is growing explosively. The choice for the consumer giant Philips and now also with a tablet on the market.

Before we talk about the tablet, it is not about the Philips in Eindhoven. It has been in the Brabant branch that makes the mobile phones years ago sold to a Chinese company now releases under the Philips brand name appliances.

The internal memory is 8 GB, and if that is not enough, you can expand it via microSD. There is also a headphone jack, microHDMI and microUSBaansluiting present. The tablet will be powered by a 3000 mAh big battery and the system runs on Android 4.1.

There is also mention of a feauture with the full name of Sound. This feature ensures that compressed audio files in an improved quality will be played. This Philips Amio would arrive in stores in Europe for around 100 Euro.
