ASUS has recently Transformer Pad TF701 as a high-end model in the Transformer series marketed but a new middle class model was missing. Today we got some more information on the specifications in hands.There have been times
rumors of a new middle Transformer tablet, which would go under the name TF502T. This model is partly surfaced at the FCC and we got the tablet today also, with the Wi-Fi Alliance. The information provided by the WiFi Alliance, however, we can only take the tablet runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
After some more research, we found out most of the specifications of the new model, via the Taiwanese ASUS website. Thus, the Transformer Pad TF502T unlike previous rumors are not equipped with a Tegra 4 processor but the somewhat older Tegra 3 processor. However, the tablet is equipped with 2GB of RAM instead of 1GB. The tablet has a weight of 525 grams, a profile of 8.3 millimeters and is provided with a metallic design, as can also be seen in the above, and figures below.
addition, the tablet includes a 10.1-inch Super IPS + LCD display with an unknown resolution and Corning Fit Glass, expand SonicMaster audio technology with four speakers, 32GB or 64GB of storage memory, a microSD card reader to the memory , a USB port and a HDMI port, an 8 megapixel camera and wireless communication using NFC. Like previous Transformer tablet dock is equipped with its own battery. The combination of tablet and dock should last about 16 hours.
high-end Transformer Pad TF701 since last month in the Netherlands for sale and includes a 10.1.-inch Super IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 pixels and a Nvidia Tegra 4 quad-core processor. For the model with 32GB of storage memory and 499 euros must be paid before the dock included. About the price and availability of the ASUS TF502T is still nothing known.
